eMediCall Pharmacy
Pharmacists are required to perform a clinical review of admission medication orders and all new medications that are prescribed. They frequently identify drug-to-drug interactions and potential allergies to medications that require practitioner notification.
eMediCall Pharmacy allows pharmacists to send a notification directly to a practitioner and receive recommendations and new orders, if indicated. After which, the facility automatically receives the message from the practitioner. Facilities may also send a message directly to the Pharmacy.
This "real-time" communication allows for a rapid decision regarding medications and can prevent delays in treatment.
